Emmanuel Pahud’s newest release is just like his previous ones, excellent. His fantasies on Rigoletto by Franz and Karl Doppler are fantastic as well. Pahud is an unbelievable flautist, and excels especially in the solo department. His technique and precise musicality are a beauty to listen to, and sound almost effortless. Any fan of the flute or musical interpretations such as this one, will not be disappointed. Go out and buy this.
