Fantastic selections, performed by nice voices, not an accolade- just a nice intro- there is a reason that the great opera singers are ‘great’

I purchased the box set while taking a break from my MCAT study at Borders today. This is a valuable collection of renowned artists at a very affordable price. Decca has fulfilled my wish again by producing this wonderful collection. I have listened to 4 of the 5 CDs so far and I am very satisfied with the sound quality and Decca’s choice of artists. I am more than thrilled to enjoy every single track in my living room and car!

We have this loaded in our car CD and wouldn’t think of driving anywhere without it on. It has all the arias, ensembles, and choruses we love, every single one done by world class performers. I could not disagree more with the only other review.
